After setting up camp and taking a rest inside the tent, it's time to filter some water from Paradise Lake

It has turned out to be a hot day, probably mid-90s, and my drinking water from Pacheco Camp is now really warm. The cooler lake water will be a treat.

Besides, it's far too hot inside the tent to stay there.

I accidentally drank a couple of litres of unfiltered water from Paradise Lake during last year's trip (filter was not filtering) and I didn't get sick.
