Tent supper tonight is instant Mountain House Beef Stew, one of my favourite dehydrated backpack meals

The chewy texture of the rehydrated potatoes and beef pieces satisfies! A quiet and warm evening here, and I haven't seen anyone yet since leaving the Hunting Hollow parking lot two days ago.

I'm glad I spent an extra day here hiking, but tomorrow, I'm off to Paradise Lake as planned to camp for a few nights by the Orestimba Wilderness.

Continue to Day 3: Pacheco Camp to Paradise Lake, Orestimba Wilderness area, by bicycle.
