I park the 10-ton bike on the shady side of the Kelly Lake outhouse and go for a short walk toward the lake

I'm now one ridge closer to the Bay Area and it feels a degree or two cooler down here. At the upper right, I can see a portion of Coit Road that I'll be climbing shortly.
